NEW RESCUE SNOW MOBILES
The Alton Firemen's Association recently donated to the Town of Alton, Alton Fire Department 2 snowmobiles with trailer, and with a rescue sled which can be towed behind either of them to transport injured persons from remote areas and lakes during the winter.  The snowmobiles are a welcome addition and will improve the Department's off-road rescue capacity.  This equipment augments the off-road Polaris Ranger which was acquired in 2006.
